At Soloff & Zervanos, P.C., we are proud that our own attorney Jeffrey Fritz is representing more than twenty women bringing sexual assault claims against Cruciani. You can read more about the story here, but the gist is that Cruciani, neurologist, has been accused many women of abusing them sexually in his numerous offices.
Attorney Jeff Fritz is also quoted in the reporting of new developments with this on-going story.
This story has been given tremendous public attention with an extended story on The Dr. Oz Show. It is encouraging that this problem is getting the attention it deserves. The show does a particularly good job of highlighting the ways that Cruciani abused the power of his position as a neurologist helping women with rare and difficult neurological problems who needed his medical expertise.
In one woman’s testimony on the video, Dr. Cruciani was prescribing unusual doses of opiates and other medications. Dependency ensued and she needed to continued going back to the doctor to get the prescriptions for the necessary medications. Then, over time, he would begin to demand sexual acts in exchange for care and prescriptions.
This is predatory behavior at its worst.
As a law firm, we are proud to be helping the women victimized, and to help them find justice.
If you have been victimized by Cruciani or anyone in a position of power or authority, you have rights and you can fight back. We can help you.
